The Fate franchise has always been excellent with the media they produce. FGO, or Fate/Grand Order, is no exception to that. Released worldwide in 2017, it marks Type-Moon’s successful entry into the gacha/RPG market.

FGO Game Mechanics
Fate/Grand Order is a turn-based, tactical RPG where the player assumes the role of a “Master.” Throughout your journey as the Master, you acquire and command a group of units called Servants. Your Servants fight for you in battle, so you are responsible for optimal party composition and advanced strategies to wipe enemy waves.
You may have up to 6 units (3 active and 3 reserves) in battle. You are given 5 command cards at the start of each turn and may use 3 of them to attack. The command cards are based on your units in battle and are only shuffled at every turn. Your Servants also have unique skills that can buff the party’s skills or weaken the enemies before you issue your commands.
Success in battle relies heavily on in-game battle strategy and how well your Servants synergize with one another. However, there are Servants with better all-around skills that make them more powerful than others.
