The DXRacer Craft series gaming chair is described as extremely versatile, ergonomical, and minimalistic design.

We will be reviewing the DXRacer Craft Series gaming chair now to see if the hype really is there. I’ll be giving my final verdict as to how well this gaming chair performs to expectations and how easy it is to get set up.

Packaging & Assembling

The DXRacer Craft series gaming chair is a very compact chair, so the box it arrived in is not as large as expected. Once opened, the contents within the box were easy to get out and ready for assembly.

Assembling the DXRacer Craft series seat was easy since it only came with 15 pieces. There is an included manual if needed, but the website also provides a video if you prefer to get a more detailed assembly guide.  

Design

One of the biggest callouts of this chair is its design. The design of the DXRacer Craft series gives off a bold and attractive design fit for gamers of all genres.  Couple this with its ergonomic design and nice fit, and the design is one of its best features.

Here is a short list of what the DXRacer Craft series features:

• Gel foam pillow which helps cool your body and comfort the neck/shoulders
• Lumbar support is integrated to support the spine and allow for easy adjustment

• You can enable a rocking motion by one single lever pull
• Easy height adjustment
• The backrest is adjustable and allows for recline (90 to 135 degrees)

Although the DXRacer Craft series boasts a lot of good design features, there is a glaring issue; it is designed for people who are up to 5ft 7in. The tallest one should be to use this chair is 6ft.

There is also a recommended weight limit of up to 200 pounds. So, if you are on the taller side and/or weigh more than 200 pounds, this chair may not be the best choice.

The headrest pillow is also upheld with straps rather than magnets which for a gaming chair at this price point should be a minimum.

Overall, the DXRacer Craft series seat has a very nice design with little to complain about!  

Comfort

In terms of comfortability, the chair does okay. As mentioned before, if you are taller than 5ft 7in, you’ll find this chair to be a bit uncomfortable and may just opt for another option. Apart from a nice design, the chair is not extraordinary in comfort.

The chair itself however is meant to promote a healthier positioning when gaming. It is stable and rigid enough to keep the user in a good position when gaming for long hours and allow for easy adjustments for the comfort of the gamer.

Although this may be a drawback for many users, this can be overlooked as many who have gamed for long hours have no complaints about the chair’s comfortability.

Value

The price of the DXRacer Craft series seat is currently 419.99 USD, down from 479.99 USD. There is also the option to use a Buy Now, Pay Later provider (Affirm) which may make it a more affordable option if you are bargain shopping.

The chair does sit on the pricer side of gaming chairs. Since it lacks the mesh fabric and magnetic headrest cushion seen on other gaming chairs at this price point, it is a seat that faces competition. However, this can be overlooked when you consider its other features and elegant design.

Final Verdict

The DXRacer Craft series offers great qualities and promotes healthier gaming sessions. It provides all the functionality to make gaming feel so seamless. Especially if you have long gaming sessions.

With its slick and aesthetically pleasing design and well-roundedness of features, the versatility of meeting different gamers’ needs is vast. You are also given many ways to upgrade through accessories to make your seating experience better.

Not everything is good, though… This chair is not for you if any of the issues may cause you too much of a problem:

• The head cushion is held on by straps rather than magnets
• The comfort of the chair is okay and nothing extraordinary
• This chair may be uncomfortable for taller and larger individuals
• The chair doesn’t have the best warranty for its price point
• The material is leather which may require tending to it

If the above is not an issue for you, this is a great premium chair to consider!
