Valhalla sees you exploring 9th century Britain from the perspective of Eivor, a Viking raider in search of a new home for his/her people.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is best described as an AC-meets-Zelda open-world RPG mash-up that manages to deliver despite sticking to the same formula as similar games before it.

That’s not to discount the game’s vibrant art style and engaging gameplay loop that encourages exploration through climbing, riding horseback, and flying using magical wings.

In it, you play as a hero who gets called upon by the Greek gods to defeat Typhon, a mighty Titan with an army of mythological monsters that have taken over the world.

Loosely based on the graphic novels’ story, it sees an unlikely hero facing off against seven of his girlfriend’s evil exes across hand-drawn 2D levels.

While the game does suffer from some issues regarding its implementation of online co-op, the combat is excellent, and the soundtrack is just as good as it was in 2010.

It takes place in Washington, D.C., seven months after The Division, and places you in the middle of a civil war between survivors and deadly enemy factions.

Players can team up in four-player squads and take on missions or engage in PvP combat in the game’s multiple ‘Dark Zones.’

Ubisoft Plus subscribers can access the Ultimate Edition, which includes The Warlords of New York expansion, a level 30 boost, instant access to all six endgame classes, exclusive missions, and more.

Anno 1800 takes place during the 19^th Century Industrial Revolution and focuses on two parallel civilizations: the Old World, where citizens, workers, and artisans are at the forefront of production, and the New World, where products and trade routes take center stage.

The game does a fantastic job of representing the boom of industry during this time period, depicting farmers moving from the countryside to work in bustling cities as factory workers and merchants.

It’s not only an engaging RTS game with innovative gameplay but also happens to be one of the most visually impressive games in its genre, complete with historically accurate architecture.

By signing up to Ubisoft Plus, players can unlock Anno 1800 Complete Edition Year 3, which includes all three Season Passes, exclusive ornaments, the game’s soundtrack, artbook, and more.

While it may not be the most recent entry in Ubisoft’s tech-centric open-world series, Watch Dogs 2 does a much better job when it comes to execution and gameplay variety.

In it, you control a hacker who decides to team up with a hacker group to take down their city’s invasive surveillance system and expose corruption.

There are a seemingly endless amount of activities to explore, ranging from infiltrating new-age cults to getting a job as a driver for a ridesharing app.

Ubisoft Plus subscribers get access to the Gold Edition of Watch Dogs 2, which includes a Season Pass, additional missions and difficulty modes, and various vehicle/character cosmetics.

Rayman Legends is considered one of the best 2D platformers of the last decade and the best entry in the series to date, and for good reason.

From the visuals and level design to the way characters control and the sheer amount of content included with the base game, there’s a lot to admire.

It sees its titular hero setting off on a magical adventure after he’s sucked inside a collection of paintings depicting different, uniquely-themed worlds.

Although you can find Rayman Legends for pretty cheap nowadays, it’s still a nice get for any Ubisoft Plus subscriber who hasn’t yet played the acclaimed sidescroller. 

Similar to Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 3 isn’t the latest entry in its respective series but has always managed to stand out compared to later entries.

In it, you play as Jason Brody, an inexperienced 20-something-year-old who takes a trip to a tropical island with his friends.

After they find themselves kidnapped by pirates, Jason sets out to rescue his friends and make it back home by any means necessary.

A subscription to Ubisoft Plus gives you access to Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition, which bundles six additional missions across two DLC packs along with three new weapons and other extras.

It’s been nearly a decade since Ubisoft released a new game in the Prince of Persia series, though that’s all set to change with the upcoming remake of Sands of Time due out later this year. 

To help bring you up to speed, we recommend going back to the original, which follows a Prince who becomes entangled in a feud between his father and a corrupt adversary.

At the center of the story is a powerful artifact known as the Dagger of Time, which grants the user the ability to control time both in the story and during gameplay.

This is another series that Ubisoft has done a fine job representing in the Ubisoft Plus library, as users can also play Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Warrior Within, and The Forgotten Sands.

Our final recommendation will appeal to fans of stealth games that have nostalgia for the Splinter Cell series, namely the third entry, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

Like its two predecessors, the game follows covert agent Sam Fisher as he carries out top-secret missions for the NSA’s “Third Echelon” branch.

It takes on a much darker tone compared to other SC games, including an emphasis on visceral combat and the option to kill criminals during interrogations.
